The CASC Program is an accredited two-year coaching-based program grounded in the California Professional Standards for Educational Leaders (CPSEL) and 21st-century leadership skills. It combines targeted professional development with individualized mentoring and support. Participating administrators will receive 40 hours of professional development and 80 hours of individualized coaching, tailored to their leadership goals, over the two-year course of the program. Professional development will be focused on effective school/district leadership in the 21st century. The program emphasizes equity-centered leadership and candidates participate in a cohort model, fostering learning across contexts and a professional network.

San Mateo/Santa Cruz County Office of Education CASC/Tier II Program

The San Mateo and Santa Cruz County Offices of Education have formed a consortium to provide the Professional Clear Administrative Services Credential Program to current administrators seeking to obtain their Clear Administrative Credential. The program is a guidelines-based program that allows preliminary credential holders to clear their administrative credential. Administrators can participate at either program, given their work location. CASC Program Mission Statement

The 小蓝视频 Clear Administrative Services Credential Program (CASC) is committed to improving the leadership qualities of administrators with an intentional focus on equity-centered, and responsive leadership practices leading to high outcomes for all students.

CASC Program Purpose

The CASC Program is dedicated to the development of highly effective, equity-minded leaders who provide rigorous educational programs and develop a strong sense of community with schools, programs and districts for all students. It delivers an interconnected and comprehensive curriculum which integrates face-to-face professional development sessions, field experiences, cohort professional learning communities, and a blended learning model through the use of technology. The curriculum is based on the California Professional Standards for Educational Leaders (CPSEL) and is designed for candidates to demonstrate the ability to meet or exceed each of the standards as outlined in the candidate self-assessment.

Administrative services credentials authorize the holder to provide the following school services in grades 12 and below, including preschool, and in classes organized primarily for adults: develop, coordinate, and assess instructional programs; evaluate certificated and classified personnel; provide students' discipline; provide certificated and classified employees discipline; supervise certificated and classified personnel; manage school site, district, or county level fiscal services; recruit, employ, and assign certificated and classified personnel; and develop, coordinate, and supervise student support services.
